Yes! Florida is a PSYPACT state and Dr. Klam is licensed to treat via telehealth across state lines, meaning we can treat clients in all states currently within the PSYPACT. PSYPACT is effective in the following states: AL, AZ, AR, CO, CNMI, CT, DE, DC, FL, GA, ID, IL, IN, KS, KY, ME, MD, MI, MN, MO, NE, NV, NH, NJ, NC, ND, OH, OK, PA, RI, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, WV, WI, and WY. Vermont has enacted legislation as of 6/1/2023, and is effective tentatively on 7/1/2024.
Yes. We have found that confidential video conferencing from the comfort of your own space has a lot of advantages! Especially during night and weekend hours, it is more convenient for everyone. Offering therapy in person exclusively for many years, telehealth has been a surprisingly easy transition since the pandemic and it allows for a lot more reach than just servicing people who live close by.
Yes. We take Aetna, Optum, Optum Live and Work Well (EAP), and United Health Care plans. Before scheduling your first appointment, we will authorize your insurance so you know up front exactly what each session will cost.
Yes. If you don't have one of the insurances listed above, we offer sliding scale cash pay rates. Our surgical evaluations are $250. We are happy to provide you with super bills that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement if applicable.
Yes. As per our psychology code of ethics, we are unable to ask or request reviews or testimonials. However, you are able to leave a review on our business if you choose via other sites.
